Does anyone have any opinions of,  or experience with  Hiossen implants or education?

David,

I got a lot of great responses to my implant question, but no one mentioned Hiossen. There sure are a lot of implant options now! If I learn anything about them I'll pass it on.

I'm not sure if this helps answer your question but from a dental labs point of view, we've restored thousands of implants and Hiossen is probably in the top 3 of implant systems we see Dr's using.  Nobel and Zimmer being #1 and 2.  Our Dr's are having about as much success with Hiossen as they are with other systems.  They're about half the cost of Nobel, Zimmer and some others given that they're a Korean knock-off of Astra Implants.  If you want detailed pro's and con's or failure success rate percentages I can put you in touch with Jeff, he's part of our implant department and "knower" of all things related to implants.

Hope that helps

Hey David!

I trained with Whitecap earlier this year, and they are using the Hiossen system with great success.  I have yet to place one, but we should get some feedback from the Libbys and Jeff Gray since I know they've been placing quite a few of them!  I'm looking forward to catching up in January!  Also, the Whitecap course with PK Clark was awesome!
