If you ever feel as though you would like to be a positive influence on the lives of those with whom you associate, you might take a lesson from Dwight Eisenhower, who has a place in history as one of the country’s most inspiring leaders.

Dwight Eisenhower had an uplifting glow about himself that just left everyone feeling better when they had come into contact with him. He always had a smile on his face and an inspiring word whereever he went. He had a broad can-do attitude that gave a fresh confidence to the troops that were about to embark on the most terrifying experiences of their lives.

With his upbeat attitude, he led the troops on the D-Day return to Europe during WWII. After the war, his upbeat personality dominated the political atmosphere and he became an “I LIKE IKE” president of the United States

The lesson learned that we can all use to advantage is that wherever you go and whatever you do, you will get the best out of yourself and out of others when you present your most positive self to everyone you encounter. This is to say that there is much to be admired and learned from “I LIKE IKE.”
