It is rather obvious that your brain is going to receive some kind of training every day, like it or not.  That being the case, it would seem like a good idea to see that it gets the right kind of training.  Here is one system that may give you a good start:

 

Guard your brain from physical damage.  The brain is guarded by a hard shell, but the inside consists of 80% water and has a consistency of mush.

 

Do not take your brain into any atmosphere where things are not motivating and uplifting.

 

Send healthy blood flow to the brain by providing regular physical exercise and drinking plenty of water.

 

Maintain positive social connections where you can keep learning.

 

Give your brain proper rest between exercises.

 

Control your thoughts.  See that they are positive and happy so that the body will release chemicals that help you feel good and improve brain function.
