Of course you have heard it repeated many times, “Ask and you shall receive.” But it would not be strange if you are one of those who hesitate asking forr of being told “No” and feeling rejected.. Your asking might be for information, for a favor for clarifying something. Here is an alternative way of thinking on this subject:
If the person you ask says “No,” you are in the same position you were in before .you asked But in many cases, the person will say “Yes” and your whole future might be different.
An interesting thing happens when you begin asking for things you want. You actually begin feeling more deserving. Here is the secret to a successful asking experience: Ask in a warm and friendly way . Ask cheerfully and expectantly. Ask confidently and be persistent if necessary.
The future belongs to those who ask and the more you ask for the things you want to know, or to have, the more likely you are to get those things. You might just discover that the person being asked is flattered to think he/she is seen as an accepting willing person.
If you subscribe to all this, you are sure to agree that the future belongs to the askers.
