We currently have 2 Odyssey 2.4G Diode Lasers in our office and are using them for perio treatment, crown lengthening, gingival contouring and other such procedures. We have used them also in treatment of apthus ulcers, but more as a customer service and at no charge. Our question is whether anyone is marketing that procedure and charging for it. And if so, what is the response from your patients? Thanks.

I do charge for it but usually just do a PMET and then the patient is not out anything. I have been doing word of mouth but when I get out on my own at the end of this month I will start marketing it.

We use the iPlus Waterlase for aphthous ulcerations, but only in the earliest stages of an outbreak.  Patients are urged to let us know when they feel an onset and try to get them in the same day.  $35 per lesion and it takes a few moments.  They know they are coming in on the fly and may have to wait, but they are almost always grateful for the treatment.  Mostly internal marketing to those we know have the frequent outbreaks, since it is not a great money maker.
