For folks offering an in-house dental plan to patients without insurance, how do you handle the patient who bought the healthy mouth version and comes in 6 mos. later with a significant increase in bleeding and inflammation?  They haven't yet lost bone, but are in need of saliva testing, irrigation and debridement so they don't sacrifice attachment.

The perception seems, from a patient's point of view, to be a bait and switch?  Thanks,
